Leather is a natural animal material. Leather products offer durability and longevity, as they are not only made to last but soften and gain character with age. The leather for this style was sourced from a Leather Working Group (LWG) rated tannery.

LWG assesses tanneries on their water use, energy use, waste management, chemical management and traceability; among other key indicators. The tannery that processed this leather has a Gold rating from LWG.
