Viscose is a man-made cellulosic fibre (MMCF), derived from wood pulp. It has a silk-like feel, fluid drape and comfortable breathability. Through our work with not-for-profit organisation Canopy, we are sourcing more than 95% of our MMCF fibres from producers that have a dark green shirt rating according to the most current CanopyStyle Hot Button Report, which is the highest possible rating. This rating is a reflection of Canopy's assessment of the producers' engagement with CanopyStyle audits, their contribution to conservation, innovation initiatives, sourcing policies, transparency and chemical management.
TENCEL Lyocell is a man-made cellulosic fibre (MMCF), derived from wood pulp sourced from sustainably managed forests. It has a silk-like feel, fluid drape and comfortable breathability.
TENCEL Lyocell fibres are made using an environmentally responsible, closed loop production process, which transforms wood pulp into cellulosic fibres using high resource efficiency and low environmental impact compared to conventional methods of production. The spinning process recycles process water and reuses the solvent at a recovery rate of 99.8%.
Linen is a natural plant fibre, grown from the flax plant. The crop itself is naturally pest-resistant and requires minimal water to grow, meaning it demands fewer resources than crops such as conventionally-grown cotton.
