The Edeka Shirt combines short batwing sleeves with a concealed, pleat-detailed placket for a clean finish. Made from an a textured, cheese-cloth effect organic cotton and French linen blend, this regular fit shirt has a straight silhouette with room to move through the sleeves. Rolled sleeve hems and decorative tabs add detail without interrupting the simple shape. A classic collar and Corozo nut buttons complete the design. Pair with tailored pants for work or leave untucked over denim.

70% Organic Cotton 30% French Linen

Cotton is a natural plant fibre. It is known for being breathable, durable and soft. Organically grown cotton avoids the use of harmful pesticides and chemicals in the farming process, helping to maintain good soil health, and reduce water & nitrogen pollution compared to conventional cotton. The cotton fibre in this fabric was organically grown in Turkey.

Linen is a natural plant fibre, grown from the flax plant. The crop itself is naturally pest-resistant and requires minimal water to grow, meaning it demands fewer resources than crops such as conventionally-grown cotton.

Linen grown in France follows more traditional methods of growing and processing. For example, the crop is stripped back to prepare it for textiles using a dew-retting process. Dew-retting makes use of natural sunlight and dew to soften the crop, rather than using intensive chemical or water processes.
